Today is very exciting because we will be reading our first chapter of our new book. I hope you love it as much as I do! 

1. (Vocabulary) What does it mean if someone is ‘willing’ to do something?

2. (Infer) Find evidence that Josie is kind.

3. Why doesn’t anyone want to sit next to Clarissa?

4. (Explain) Why do you think the author chose to point out it wasn’t a special chair?

5. (Retrieve) How does the narrator plan to befriend Ahmet?

6. (Summarise) Summarise the narrator in one word and explain your choice of word.
