Understanding the World
We took inspiration from our class book this term 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt' by Michael Rosen. We began to learn about our senses and how we use them to tell us about the world.
We felt the swishy swashy grass against our legs and arms. We used a special white powder and pipettes to make snow. We watched carefully as it absorbed lot and lots of water! We explored a dark bear cave. We thought sparkly tinsel and shiny mirrors would help us to see. We completed a test by going into the dark cave and we still could not see! We needed a light source - a torch - without light is it dark!
Autumn - There are lots of pine cones in autumn ! We used them to make bird feeders.
