The Anglo Saxons: What made them such fierce invaders?

This term, we will be studying the Anglo Saxons. This is a fascinating topic and will lead onto next term, when we will be studying the Vikings. We will be looking at what made the Anglo Saxons such ruthless invaders and studying the ancient tale of Beowulf. The children will be writing persuasively and even creating their own epic tale about defeating a monster. We will be continuing with fractions and moving into multiplication and division. In RE, we will be looking at two topics: our local community and the Eucharist.
