We are the Sunshine Team!

It is our job to spread kindness around our school and our local community. We are ambassadors for our school, and are proud to wear our yellow jumpers.

Today we held our Sunny Tea! We invited our grandparents and parishioners from St. Paul's Catholic Church to join us for an afternoon of music, tea and most importantly... cake!

Everyone had a wonderful time and so did we!

Our Year 6 friends have been working so hard on their SATS this week, we thought we would spread some sunshine and leave them letters of encouragement and support. We know you will do amazingly, Year 6 and we are so proud of you!

The Sunshine Team decided that they wanted to help the staff around school and so they signed up for jobs to help others. The Sunshine Team thought it would be nice to share the load and help.

The Sunshine Team thought it would be a good idea to clean up in our school outside school environment, so in the meeting they collected rubbish outside, watered the plants and tidied up outside. The Sunshine Team thought this was an important job to do in their meeting as Pope Francis has asked us to be stewards of God's world.

The Sunshine team raised money within the community to be able to host a special daffodil tea for the governors, parish and grandparents. It was such a lovely event and so wonderful to bring people together.

God of mercy,

following the recent earthquakes.

We mourn the death and destruction.

The Sunshine Team decided that they would like to collect food for the homeless during Advent. They collected food from their friends and family to share with others within our local community. The food was put together to create hampers for those less fortunate.
