The solar system consists of eight planets and their moons, orbiting a star, our Sun.
Scientists use models to help them understand difficult concepts. We made a model to help our understanding of the planets relative size. The planet closest to the Sun in the smallest called Mercury. The largest planet is called Jupiter.
