Daily Zoom session: Our sound this week is 'ee'. This is a Green Froggy sound! We will be reading the Monster Phonics retelling of Sleeping Beauty today and reading lots of 'ee' words! We will also have a quick recap of our Tricky Words from Phase 2: I no go to into the. Remember these are words we learn by sight- they cant be sounded out!

 

Writing:

Make some 'ee' flashcards. (see free tree keep weep teeth feet deep seen been meet sweet sleep green) Remember to add your sound buttons and lines!

A single letter that makes a single sound has a button, two letters that make a single sound (digraph) have a line to show they make one sound. (See examples below).

 

Practice reading your flashcards throughout the day with your grown-up.

Sound them out and then read the word. 

How quickly can you read your flashcards by the end of the day?
