Daily Zoom session: Our sound this week is 'ai'. This is an Angry Red A sound. We will re-read the Hansel and Gretel ppt, practice writing some ai words, then learn some new tricky words: you and are. Then we'll watch and sing a Phase 3 tricky word song together.
Follow up activity: Play Poop Deck Pirates on ICT games. Please choose CVC and ai.

Writing:
Key Worker themed writing: Make a lovely 'thank you' poster to put in your window.
Write ‘Thank you’ and then the name of the key workers you want to thank.
For example; ‘Thank you bin men’ or ‘Thank you post man’ or ‘Thank you shop workers.’
Make one poster and sound out the words you write. Use your sound mat to help you write the sounds you hear. Don't worry about correcting spelling- focus on it being phonetically correct (matching their spoken sounds).
