-using brackets to add extra information

-sentence imitation

-adding additional information about something using sentence signposts which signal addition.

Some art appreciation today Year 6. We will be thinking about how famous artists make their paintings exciting and memorable. Have a look at the lesson here:

Watch the videos about Andy Warhol, Wassily Kandinsky and Jan Van Eyck and think about the art that has been created. 

 

Then you can have a go at the activities:

- Activity 1 is about creating Pop Art in the style of Warhol using a pencil and paper 

- Activity 2 is about using the style of Kandinsky to draw some emotions

- Activity 3 is about thinking about objects which have meaning - in the style of Van Eyck
