Rainbow Crow. Look at his picture.
Rainbow Bird is beautiful and colourful so we are going to sing about his amazing coat:
I look handsome, I look smart
I am a walking work of art
Such a dazzling coat of many colours
How I love my coat of many colours
It was red and yellow and green and brown
And scarlet and black and ochre and peach
And ruby and olive and violet and fawn...
I look handsome, I look smart
(And lilac and gold and chocolate and mauve)
I am a walking work of art
(And cream and crimson and silver and rose)
Such a dazzling coat of many colours
(And azure and lemon and russet and grey)
How I love my coat of many colours
(And purple and white and pink and orange and blue)
It was red and yellow and green and brown
And scarlet and black and ochre and peach
And ruby and olive and violet and fawn
And lilac and gold and chocolate and mauve
And cream and crimson and silver and rose
And azure and lemon and russet and grey
And purple and white and pink and orange and blue
So your sentences for chunk 1 are: Who will do it? Who will do it? Who will do it? Rainbow Crow.
Learning Chunk 2 - Here are are going to be using adjectives to describe the Rainbow Crow.
Gather lots of positive adjectives to describe the feathers.
dazzling, dreamy, magnificent, soft, silky, sumptuous, radiant, colourful, splendid...
Here are my sentences: The crow who was dazzling and dreamy. The crow who was handsome and smart. The crow who was silky and magnificent.
Sentence 3 - Here we are going to use a simile to describe the crow's feathers.
What do they look like? What colour are they?
As red as strawberries. As green as an emerald. As shimmering as the sun? As soft as a cloud...
