Welcome to Samphire Class!

 

I was so excited when I discovered I was teaching the Samphire class. Samphire Hoe is one of my most favourite places in the world. I love to go on walks and chase my nephew, Reuben.

 

 

Here he is!! 

 

 

Anyway, I hope you feel very welcome in your new class. I like to think I am a very friendly, approachable teacher for my children and their families. There is a contact form below, please do feel free to email if you need to. 

 

Key Information:

- Homework books will be handed out, marked, by Thursday each week. Homework is due on a Tuesday. I encourage the children to hand it in on Monday, so if they forget, they still have a day! 

- Spellings are to be learnt every week, the test is on Tuesday. This is very informal and the focus is on improvement and support. Children- do not get yourselves in a pickle and worry about these- just try your best. 

- P.E. is taught on Wednesdays and Fridays. The children will need to wear their P.E. kits for the entire day.

- Reading is very important. Please make sure your child is reading for at least 15 minutes each evening. This is even more effective if they can read out loud to an adult.
