9:00 - 9:30 - Phonics - ey
Look at the the PowerPoint. Meet Harvey, who does not want go to school without his monkey. Look at the More than One Machine – add s for plurals. This is different to words ending in y.
Watch the video ‘Monkey Boo’. Harvey sings about how he is happy to give up anything except his toy monkey. Make the Green Froggy (forefinger and thumb making a smiley face and say ‘eee’) action every time you hear an o-e word. Can you remember all of the ey words in the song?
Look at the activity. Label the ey pictures. Cut and glue ey items onto the rucksack to take to school or draw your own rucksack. Write about the ey items and highlight the ey grapheme in green.

10:00 - 10:30 - English - Writing
Listen to the story and then choose a season and write some sentences about that season. The worksheets have some word ideas for you but you can add your own.
10:45 - 11:15 - English - Reading
Learning Objective: To be able to use vocabulary from a text.
Listen to the story.
Today you are going to sort some words from the text in order or 'badness'. Which ones are bad words and which ones a ok. Then compare two different animals using some the different vocabulary.
11:15 - 12:15 - Maths - interpreting pictograms
Starter: Play the Save the Whale number bond game to practise quick recall of number bonds.
Learning Objective: To be able to interpret a pictogram (2, 5, 10)
Watch the video and then have a go at some of the activities. Remember that today the pictures could mean 2, 5 or 10.
PE challenge Week 6

1:20 - 2:00 - Geography
Learning Objective: To compare weather in countries near the North and South poles to weather in the United Kingdom.
Look through the PPT and then complete the activities. The first one is draw the pictures to go with the diary. Tromso is near the North Pole so think how it would be different to here.
The second activity is to try and create your own piece of art for the Northern Lights.
