Our class text this term is Paddington. We came into class one morning to find that Paddington had arrived in our classroom with his suitcase and a note that said, 'Please look after this bear, thank you!' Later on, we found an empty jar of marmalade and this gave us the idea to make some marmalade sandwiches to eat with Paddington. Therefore, we have been learning all about instruction writing, so that we can write instructions on how to make a marmalade sandwich.

This term, we are continuing with addition and subtraction to 10. After that, we are learning about 2D and 3D shapes.

In Project, we are learning all about toys from the past and how they are similar and different to toys we have today. We have an exciting toy workshop trip to Dover Museum coming up, as well as a toys afternoon.
