Kearsney Class

Year 3 learned about the Trimurti for Hinduism Day.

We learned that in Hinduism the Hindu Dharma puts all existence down to one god: Brahman. He is seen as the ‘Ultimate Being’. Hindus worship many gods (all forms of Brahman) and from all these gods, a group of three gods, known as the Trimurti (three deities) are significant to most Hindus. Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva come together to make ‘the trimurti’. Many Hindus believe that everything happens in the world because of this trinity of Brahman.

They are responsible for birth, life, death and rebirth.

We created Trimurti masks of the three gods and used our masks for drama and hot seating.
