Daily Zoom session: 

Recap er objects from yesterday's zoom. We will re-read the Monster Phonics version of Cinderella and look out for 'er' words. Then we will write the word 'letter' together. We will learn/recap tricky words: my, her, you and into.

Then play Spooky Sounds on ICT Games- choose er, oa, or, ch + ur.

 

Writing:

How to take care of your pet fish:

Write some instructions for caring for your pet fish.

What does it need to live? Does it need to be fed? Can it live outside of its fish tank? Simple 2-4 word sentences such as "Feed it" are what we're looking for.

Please upload to EExAT or email to Miss Hunt, with detail of your childs understanding and the level of support they needed to get there. What did they find tricky? What did they do independently?

 

Fine Motor Skills:

Challenge: Threading skills. (See pictures below for inspiration).

Make a dried pasta necklace, a cheerio cereal caterpillar, weave a shoelace in and out of shoe holes.

Please read with your child every day!

Session 2 Activity: Representing and Sorting 9 and 10

If you don't have access to a printer you can make your own cards using plain paper and simple drawings. Try adding numbers 9 and 10 to see if your child can recognise these numbers and match them to quantities.

 

Please upload 1 post to EExAT for this Maths activity. If you have multiple photographs, combine them into a photo collage, using the link above or a smartphone app. 

 

Afternoon Activities:

Art: Make an underwater scene in a box (such as a show box) featuring the pet fish you made last week.
