Welcome to Term 1

 

Key Information:

- Homework books will be handed out, marked, by Friday each week. Homework is due on a Wednesday. I encourage the children to hand it in on Tuesday, so if they forget, they still have a day! 

- Spellings are to be learnt every week, there will be one termly test with a range of the spellings being chosen looking at spelling rules. This is very informal and the focus is on improvement and support. Children- do not get yourselves in a pickle and worry about these- just try your best. 

- P.E. is taught on Mondays & Wednesdays. The children will need to wear their P.E. kits for the entire day.

- Reading is very important. Please help/support your child to read for at least 15 minutes each evening. This is even more effective if they can read out loud to an adult.
