Wow - I hope you all enjoyed looking at the story in more detail on Friday - and seeing through 'the viewer'.... weren't the pictures fascinating - if a little dark and eerie.

 

In today's lesson, we will be generating vocabulary to use when writing a diary entry. We will be focusing on how to generate adjectives for key nouns, and then moving this on to adding verbs and adverbs to describe what a character might be doing at a certain point of the story.

Watch the video - and follow the instructions Mr Brown gives you. Pause the video to do the activities and then complete the independent work at the end of the lesson.

Write today's short date (25/01) in your home learning book and have a go at these arithmetic questions:

Watch the White Rose video - you can pause it as you are watching to have a go at joining in with the activities. When you get to the end, have a go at the work in your home learning book. You will need to have the worksheet open on a device in front of you and then do your working out and answering in the book. Afternoon lessons - Art

Today we are continuing learning about using simplified shapes and lines to create more abstract drawings. Have a look at this video online on creating optical illusion art using straight lines and a sphere. All you will need to have a go is a piece of paper, a ruler and a pencil.

Have a go at seeing what you can create. Think carefully about how you use your pencil for shading at the end - this is the part that can really bring your 3 dimensions to life. Good luck Year 6! I can't wait to see what you all create.
