Term 5 Information

PE  - children will have a short PE session on Monday and a full PE afternoon on Tuesday with Marc. Please wear PE kits into school on these days. 

Reading Books - Reading books need to be in school every day please. We try to hear as many children read as we can. It is really important that you try and hear your child read every day and then sign in their reading record. Reading is key to support their development across the curriculum. Children receive a Book Worm for every time they read at home. These are then entered into a prize draw. 

Homework - New homework is issued on Friday and needs to be back in school by Wednesday. 

PACT folders - please ensure PACT folders are in school everyday. Any bits that need to be sent home will be done so in their PACT folders. Every child has been tested on a 'spelling tree'. All sheets have been sent home for you to support your children with. Keep practising these words and then send them back to school in the PACT folders once children have learnt them all. I will then test the children again in school. Homework books and reading books are also best kept safe in PACT folders.
