Maths
Today we are going to be looking at subtracting decimals with the same amount of decimal places. I know this is tricky as you probably don't have squared paper like we do at school, so take extra care when laying your work out- remember, place value is key!
Worksheets
English
I hope you enjoyed reading about the Rhi-swano-zeb-tah yesterday! Click here to listen to the story if you would like a reminder.
Today I would like you to complete the following activities: Let's Explore the Words, Example/Non- Example, Fill the Gaps and Review Learning.
If you do not have a dictionary to look up the meaning of the words, you could use the internet (with adult supervision and permission).
Afternoon Lesson
I believe that you are our future, and you are the first generation to truly care about the world we live in. It's your future. Do you know what climate change is? We are going to have a look at it over the next few days.
You are NEVER too young to change the world.
Have a look at this video below about the homeless Polar Bear.
Can you do some research and create a poster showing me which other animals are threatened that live in the Arctic? Why do you think it is so important that we stop the Arctic from disappearing?
