Members of St. Richard's school choir singing with the Dover Community Youth Choir at the 'Festival of Remembrance' at Dover Town Hall on the evening of Friday November 9th 2019.

We thank Mr Charles Spanner who worked tirelessly with our choir and set up this event for us. He was delighted with the standard of their singing and thanked St. Richard's  for taking part in the festival. Mr Spanner chose folk songs that represent each of the countries that make up the United Kingdom:

Scotland: Charlie is My Darling

Northern Ireland: The Lark in the Clear Air

Wales :The Ash Grove

England: Waly Waly

Malcolm Sawyer , Lay Preacher and Organiser of the Festival of Remembrance, said "Many good comments about the choir.  They were well behaved and a credit to you and the school.  Most impressive. Please pass on my heartfelt thanks for their performance. Blessings, Malcolm. "

Well done to all of the children for taking part and singing so beautifully. Thanks also to the families who came and supported.
