Monday

Good Morning Year 5! Well done- you have made it to the end of term!!

I am so sad that we are not celebrating how we should be. I wish we were at school so we could mark the end of our time together properly with a big party.

I have LOVED being your teacher for the last two years. I feel so incredibly lucky that I got to teach you for so long. You are each so special, funny and wonderful. We have had so many amazing memories together: pancake breakfasts, putting on shows, jumping on tables to teach you about glaciers, eating ice cream at kaspas, being silly, learning loads, being great friends.

When you become a teacher, it can be really scary and it's difficult to know if you're doing the right thing. I will always be so grateful that you made my first two years of teaching so brilliant. You have given me the gift of looking forward to come into work! That's amazing.

I will never forget any of you, and am still here for you if you need anything. You are going to have the best Year 6 with Miss Drage, she is kind, clever and very patient.

Thank you for all being so wonderful. I have loved every day I got to teach you.

Now... onto the home learning!

Today I would like you to continue with your Elves workbook. You are going to be going through the text to magpie some wonderful opening phrases. Have a look at page 9 for the activity.
