Good morning and happy Monday!

Hope you are all doing well. If you managed to get any pictures of your VE Day celebrations, I would love to see them.

Let's get into our home learning...

We are going to continue with decimals this week, we are focusing on adding and subtracting them. Remember your place value knowledge and you will be find. I'll start us off easy with decimals of the same amount of digits.

Lesson 5 - Step 5 - Adding decimals with the same number of decimal places

This week, we are going to start our new pack called 'Meet the Rhi-swano-zeb-tah'. Before you even open the pack, what do you think of the title? Do you have any predictions about what a Rhi-swano-zeb-tah might be?

The stimulus for this pack (this means the inspiration), comes from a story called Where the Wild Things Are

Here is a video I would like you to watch.

Where the Wild Things Are

A video adaptation of the Maurice Sendak classic.

Today I would like you to read the text in the pack, and fill in the 'Interests, Questions and Favourites' sheet.

I hope you enjoy the story. :)

Afternoon Learning

We all need a pick-me-up now and then. One of my favourite ways to cheer up is to listen to a happy song. We have heard this one before, I thought it would make you smile...

Joy of the Holy Spirit // Sign Song (BSL) Video

From the album "Dewfall" available at: A British Sign Language (BSL) interpretation of "Joy of the Holy Spirit" by Mike Stanl...

Your task is just to enjoy the song. Whether that's listening, singing, joining in with the sign language.

Try to clear your mind of any worries and listen to the words. God gave us the gift of music, take some time to appreciate it.

Bonus task: Could you create a film of yourself performing the sign language?
