Maths

Today's maths is a little different. There is a baking challenge, and I have left some recipes down below. There is also a sheet on shapes and tanagrams. This sheet you may need to print, so if you don't have access to a printer, don't worry.

If you are unable to do these things, could you help out in the kitchen today? Maths is important in every day life, especially in cooking. Being able to measure and adjust recipes is a skill you will need when you grow up.

Clue-dough Carrot Cake

English

Wow- I cannot believe how hard you have all worked on your creations. If you have not finished your information text, now is the time to get that finished. If you have finished, then can you present your information in a creative way?

Could you create a leaflet, a book or a poster about your animal to make people want to learn all about it?

Afternoon Lesson

"Is it not enough for you to feed on the good pasture, that you must tread down with your feet the rest of your pasture; and to drink of clear water, that you must muddy the rest of the water with your feet?"

-Ezekiel 34:18

"Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?"

-Matthew 6:26

The earth is the Lord’s, and all it contains,
The world, and those who dwell in it.
For He has founded it upon the seas
And established it upon the rivers.

-Psalm 24:1-2

What do you think God thinks about the way humans have treated his world?

Can you look at the scripture above and understand it in your own words?

God loves all his creatures, big and small. We are living on his Earth and it is our job to protect it.

Can you write a prayer for the orangutans? Can you include some of the scripture above in your prayer?
